I have been having dizziness and balance issues for 2 months. I drove 3 hours from my home and Drs. Day, Darland, and Nathan conducted over 4 hours of innovative testing to determine the cause and then spent 1 more hour providing me with treatment and explaining everything. I walked out no longer dizzy and cried out of happiness and relief upon calling my wife. I drove 3 hours home. I look forward to my Advanced Vestibular Treatment as follow up to be sure I heal properly and for any additional treatment. They ruled out cognitive issues and a tumor as other possible causes. I am truly grateful for my experience here and highly recommend any one with balance and dizziness issues to start here first. 5.1.26. I have started my Advanced Vestibular Treatments as followup care and am feeling markedly better. Some residual daily dizziness remains after my initial Epley maneuvers so these home treatments and weekly office monitoring are focussing on complete healing.. Am grateful for Dr Nathan directing me through these advanced treatments so far. It is worth the 3 hour drive each way from Yuma each week! 6.30.26 I have completed 9 weeks of Advanced Vestibular Treatment and graduated today. With daily home eye and balance exercises and weekly office visits with Dr. Nathan and Dr. Schmidt, I am feeling back to normal and am no longer dizzy or having balance issues. I am forever grateful to the doctors and the wonderful staff of Pamela and Sabrina for their care. It was worth driving 3 hours every week one way and then back for my appointments knowing that it made me better. I highly recommend Arizona Balance Dizziness and Ear Institute for any vertigo, dizziness or balance problems! 10.27.26 It has now been 4 months since I graduated from my Advanced Vestibular Treatments and I am feeling fine without further dizziness episodes. Ask about the price before you go because they say 300 dollars then charge your card twice as much . Also if they diagnose they say you have to have therapy there .

Truly the best center for balance and dizziness. The team is great and they deliver results. I was initially not so sure that this would work, but with their program and the home program it really does. Amazing group of doctors. I can’t thank them enough!!

I can't say enough good things about my experience at SW Balance, Dizziness & Ear Institute. From the very beginning, everyone was incredibly kind, caring, and efficient. Mira and the entire staff I encountered at southwest balance were extremely helpful and great when I needed my hearing test updated and current hearing aids adjusted and repaired. I look forward to seeing them again when the time comes.

Sabrina is extremely helpful. She was my first point of contact scheduling me and assisting with setting up a portal To complete all paperwork. My appointment was on 1/19 with Dr M Nathan. She is so professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and has the right amount of lovely humor to make a very long and arduous process pleasant. I am so grateful to my neurologist for referring me. I had a 6-month visit with Dr. Nathan this week just for her to do a check of my hearing aids. She was able to give me advice and make adjustments to the volume level because of the problems I am having with very high volume levels at my church.

SW Balance, Dizziness & Ear Inst., formally Arizona Balance & Hearing Aids, have been treating me for almost 3 years now. I suffered from hearing loss in my left ear 20 years ago due to Meniere's Disease, and have lost all but 2% hearing in that ear. Due to my age and working in construction for over 50 years, I have lost about 12% in my right ear as well. I went to ABHA, (SW Balance, Dizziness & Ear Inst.) 2+ years ago. They knew their stuff! I received the best hearing exam I ever had... over 3 hours!! They fitted me with Oticon More 1 aids in both ears. The left ear got the aid that helped that ear hear way better than the 80% it could do on its own. The right (dead) ear was fitted with an aid that blue-toothed the sound to my right, (good), ear. Now, I'm not startled by someone coming up on my left side. These aids were not cheap, but they allowed me to continue playing in the Chandler Symphony for 3 more years! They still call and have me come in for updates, at no charge. All issues with the aids, (very few), and supplies like ear cups and wax guards are no charge. I recommend highly!! The doctors and staff are caring, and they truly understand the grief and suffering of hearing loss and strive to help you through it. Thank you SW Balance, Dizziness & Ear Inst.!!!

When your loved one is not feeling well & you've tried just about every test, you’re ready to give up. We were referred to this clinic & it did not disappoint. The initial visit is pretty long and thorough. At the end of testing, we were able to go over results & Get some answers. Starting some therapy sessions soon. Having no previous experience with hearing loss I went to Southwest Balance Dizziness & Ear Institute for a hearing test or should I say tests. Dr Nathan did a pretty thorough examination and multiple tests to determine my problem. She was able to explain and show on a model just what is happening so I could understand. I can't say I'm happy with the diagnosis but the experience was pleasant and I would definitely return if the need arises.

Life saving! I had been to two neurologist's, an ENT, had multiple scans done AND had already had the vestibular testing done at another place, with no success. I had been prescribed various medications, and diagnosed with migraine disorders. None helped. Nothing! I had been suffering from debilitating dizziness for 8 months. Dana nailed it right away with her testing and Susan got me back to living my life within 6 weeks. Like I said, it was life changing. I hadn’t been into a store in 8 months, I couldn’t move without getting dizzy, I couldn’t do anything. I can’t express how grateful I am that I found them. They literally gave me my life back. Wow! What a great operation! Wonderful staff; very courteous, professional and efficient. I’ve had vertigo for 3+ years; MRIs, CAT scans, ENT specialists, optometrists, etc. Nobody coming with either the cause or treatment. These wonderful people will. Six week therapy course plus “homework”. Only 3 clinics in US take their approach. Check it out; you won’t be sorry!

I’ve experienced unsettling and debilitating spells of vertigo for about 15 yrs. Some have been so severe that I vomit and have to sleep for several hours until it passes. I was referred to the Southwest Balance Dizziness and Ear Institute for testing to determine the cause of my vertigo. Dr. Day spent 4.5 hours putting me through a battery of tests designed to pinpoint the root of my problem. Following the testing it was suggested that I participate in a series of exercises designed to strengthen the weaknesses found during testing, which in turn will minimize or eliminate my dizzy spells. Though a little skeptical, I’ve decided to participate, knowing I have nothing to lose. Dr Day was very upbeat, and explained each test and answered all questions as we went along. Afterwards she spent time going over the results and explaining how each finding affected the dizziness I have been experiencing. And despite all the testing, I’m happy to say I never had any dizziness throughout the process. If this works, it will be well worth the whole experience. I remain hopeful!!!

I have been blessed to find southwest balance, dizziness and vertigo institute. For the past 10 years I have been dealing with vertigo, tinnitus and Ménière’s disease. She explained each test and assured me as we went through the process. Her smile, professionalism and knowledge really calmed me! She’s just wonderful! She reviewed the outcome of my tests afterwards and l scheduled therapy dates. I have been working with Dr. S. Schmidt for bi-weekly therapy. Each session has been a review/adjustment to the daily therapy I do at home. She is fantastic to work with! Goes to great length to explain what we’re working on and what’s the next step.
